Education: Require 4 years of study, including emphasis, on basis science, clinic work, and social science.

 Reflection: The quote, " True wealth is of the heart, not the purse," Written by Og Mandino is agreeable and understandable. the quote means that the amount of money or quantity of riches is not important, what is important, is your heart and everybody else's. The important things in life are feelings and hearts not money and wallets.
                                                             Allergist/ Immunologist 


Duties and Responsibilities:  The duties of an Allergist/ Immunologist is to be trained how to diagnose and then treat allergies, asthma, and immunologic disorders.

Salary: The median salary of an allergist/ immunologist is about $171,223 per year.
 
Education: You must have 4 years of undergraduate study, minimum 3 years of Medical School, and 2 years of  Allergy and Immunology training.

Reflection: I can consider becoming an Allergist/ Immunologist because it seems like a job were im helping people of every different type of age and i get paid a lot per year. The only problem is the education and how long it will take to become an allergist/ immunologist.

Reflection: I agree with Sterling W.Sill's quote, I believe who we are and what we do is much more valuable than what we own and the amount of money we have. It's not about the quantity it's about a person's qualities that matter in life. 
              

Acupuncture
August 22, 2014



Duties and Responsibilities:  The job of an acupuncturist is to restore good health with needles in the human body by treating the body with an ancient Chinese therapy based on the theory that the body depends on life and energy.

Salary:  Acupuncturist earn approximately $41,361 per year

Education: In order to become an acupuncturist you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in health care or alternative medicine. You also must have a Master’s degree that takes 3-4 years to earn.

Reflection:

No, I know I would not like to become an acupuncturist because I am not interested in giving therapy to sick bodies. Becoming an acupuncturist is not of my interest and may never be because I am not attracted to any job that includes giving therapy.

Reflection: I agree with Ezra T. Benson and his quote. I believe guilt does not let you enjoy happiness when you do something wrong. The only way you can feel right is when you choose the right! Not even the evilest person in the world can do wrong and be able to be feeling right and feel they chose the right, because deep down they know they don't feel right.
                        Acupressure

Duties and Responsiblities:
Acupressure is based on the concept of life energy which flows through “meridians” in the body. In treatment, physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points. pressure may be applied by hand, elbow, or with several devices.
Salary:
 Median Annual Wage: $81,830    Median Hourly Wage: $39.34
                            Total Employed Nationally: 31,390

Education: The first thing you have to do to become an acupuncturist is  receive an undergraduate degree that takes 4 years to get. A major in Science is recommended to be able to study Acupressure.  



Reflection: 
No, I would not like to become a specialized person in acupressure because touching peoples’ bodies to relief their pain is not a job that interests me.

Reflection : This quote means to me that without education I will not be successful in life. The quote inspires me to study harder and try to be as successful in life as possible. It motivates me to not give up and keep moving on in life no matter what.                                                            

Ophthalmologist

Duties and responsibilities:

Ophthalmologist are physicians who specialize in the treatment of eye disorders and diseases. They treat vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses. When necessary, they perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologists are in private practice, however some are employed by hospitals or clinics, and other perform research.
Average Salary: $90,000-$150,000

Educational Requirements:


Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologists. After completing medical school and internship, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three to five year residency in an approved ophthalmology program. After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.
                                                  
Reflection: 
No, I am not interested in becoming an ophthalmologist. The process to become an ophthalmologist is too long and I am not interested in doing surgeries on eyeballs or specialize in eye diseases. The salary is great and the job is for a good cause but studying eyes is not something that interests  me.
