                                     A Gift to Father
                                                        March 2, 2015

Mitch McKee was 15- years -old while he was living with his father that was diagnosed with cancer.  Unfortunately, his father's illness had no cure. However, Mitch believed he could do something that could numb the pain for a while. Mitch decided to try to win the State Wrestling Championship for his father. He was only a freshman, however his determination to winning and dedication didn't stop him from trying to win. Everyday Mitch would wake up at 6 a.m. to train for the competition. The day came when Mitch was going to compete. Mitch was amazing! He won almost all of his competitors and he made it to State Finals. There was one match left to define whether Mitch would win the championship or end in 2nd place. He knew what he had to do so he was ready to take on the challenge. Mitch tried and concentrated to winning the championship while he was fighting his opponent until the battle ended. That year, the State Wrestler Champion was Mitch McKee! Mitch's father was so proud of what Mitch had accomplished and he knew what really mattered was his son proving how much love he had for him.

                  Student Success Statement
                                     March 2, 2015

" Great beauty , great strength, and great riches are really and truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all."

                                 Benjamin Franklin

Reflection: I believe having a great heart means you forgive before you've been apologized to, you give without being asked to, and you love with desire and dedication. I really like the quote because in these times many people people it is all about the physical appearance, or how much money you have, or how easily you can beat someone else. I also think that the true beauty, the true strength, and the riches thing, is a right and pure heart.
                                              Health Educator
                                                        March 2, 2015

Duties and Responsibilities: What a Health Educator does is teach others about healthy behaviors, things that can affect your health, and things that can improve your health. Health educators also also inform about the different diseases in the world, their symptoms, and how you can prevent from getting the disease.

Salary: The median annual wage for health educators is $48,790.

Education: The requirements for becoming a health educator are:

  1. Bachelor's Degree
  2. Master's Degree
  3. Must have attended graduate programs
  4. Internship (optional)

Reflection: I would consider becoming a Health Educator because I believe it is important to focus on our health and to know how to prevent  taking action in things that harm. In addition, I would also like to think about becoming a health educator because I believe more people should know about how to prevent diseases and how to stop some daily routine actions that are secretly damaging their health.
