Reflection: I agree with this quote and I could give a good example. What if one day you are happily married, you have kids, and you have a well-paying job. One day you see you're wife talking to a man and you get really jealous. You follow the guy and you kill him. The decision changed your life.

                              Professional You -Tuber

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of a professional you-tuber are to make entertaining videos on you-tube, keep all and get more subscribers, and make over 1,000 views per video.  

Salary: The average professional you-tubers make from $150,00-300,000 per video, depending on the amount of views.  

Education: There are no educational requirements for becoming a professional you-tuber. 


Reflection: I really like You-tube and all the you-tubers because they are so confident and sure of themselves. I wouldn't become a you-tuber because I honestly wouldn't know of what to talk about. If i had ideas and an agenda of what to do and how to get subscribers then I would love to become a professional you-tuber.

Reflection: I completely agree with this quote because I think you're in charge of your own life and you're the only one to decide whether you will succeed or not. In addition, I also believe that you create yourself,and your're the only one who can stop yourself from not achieving. It all depends on you.

Whenever someone sneezes, you say "Bless You" or hear someone else say these words.

1.Why? Why are these words spoken?
I was told that back in the days, people believed that when someone sneezed it would mean your body and soul were separating. To keep the devil from stealing your soul when you sneezed, some would say, "(God) bless you"and this would prevent your soul getting stolen. 
However, I personally believe people say, "Bless you," simply because sneezing is a sign that you are sick and saying those words basically mean like, "Get better." 

2.When? When did this saying originate?

I was informed, that this saying came from Pope Gregory

 I the Great (AD 540-604) because he believed people

should instantly blessed in hope that they did not get 

infected by the bubonic plague.



3.How? How did this saying originate?

This saying then became popular around the country, it started spreading, and eventually everyone began to use it.

4.Where? Where did this saying originate?

I think this saying originated from a place called, "Syria," located in Asia.

                      The Good Deed

           It was a normal day at work for Rachel Castillo until this occurred. Rachel was working at the Miami Beach Golf Course when a group of golfers told her about a bag that was abandoned in the course. Rachel was in a typical mood while she was walking to pick up the bag. Then, everything changed when Rachel opened the bag. Stacks of money that later was discovered to be 36,000 dollars were inside the bag. Inside the bag, there was also an ID of a 72-year-old ma. Rachel panicked and immediately called the police. She was not rewarded at the time, but she believes she will be rewarded spiritually.

Reflection: I really like this quote because it is astonishing the way this statement can improve your life in so many ways. I also enjoy this quote because it reminds me of a process that I have. When I was about 10 years old I began doing this thing where before I made a decision I would ask myself, "Would my parents be proud of me if I did this?" Since then, I've always asked myself this question and it has saved me from a lot of trouble.

Duties and Responsibilities: What health information specialist do is they manage and organize medical data and files. 

Salary: Health information specialist make $30,000- $42,000 annually. 

Education: What is required to become a health information specialist is:

1. Associate's Degree
2. Bachelor's Degree
3. High School Diploma 

 

Reflection: I like the purpose of the job and I believe it is a nice thing to dedicate yourself to, but it is not what I'm looking for. I would like to pursue a career in which action is taken and lives are saved. However, I still believe this is an acceptable job and I encourage whoever wants this as a career. 

                             The Honor Story 
                                     February 18, 2015

           A soldier walked in early in the morning to eat breakfast with his family. A few seconds later, 8-year-old Miles Etcher walked into the same restaurant with his family showing-off, the 20-dollar-bill he had found in the parking lot. When he walked into the restaurant, he saw the soldier. What Miles decided to do was write him a note, attach the 20-dollar-bill, and hand the money and the note the soldier. The note explained how Miles' father was a soldier and how his father died just a few months after Miles' was born. Now, the soldier reads that note daily and he tries to do very kind things for others because he was honored ans inspired that he went through something so beautiful.

Reflection: I really like how this quote gets straight to the point of the definition of what honor is. In addition, I enjoy the way the phrase was organized and well-defined. What I think honor means is basically earned respect. I believe honor is when you have done something right and you have earned respect for yourself. 

   Environmental Health Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:  Environmental Health Specialist  are people who identify problems in the environment and try to find a solution for them. 


Salary: The average salary for a health specialist is $51,000.


Education: The Requirements for becoming an Environmental Health Specialist are

• Bachelor's Degree
• Must have study environmental/natural science
• Must have Computer Skills
• Must have Technical and Key Skills 

Reflection: I would like to become an environmental specialist because the job seems very interesting and it helps find solutions for problems int the environment. In addition, I would like to become an environmental specialist because you get to study nature and help the surroundings look and be better.

REFLECTION: I agree with this quote because who you hang out with reflects a lot on your personality and how you are. I believe we should conserve our reputations and act with education. I also agree that we should be alone rather than hang out with the wrong crowd of people.

President's day is a holiday celebrated in the United States.

President's Day is a holiday that was made to honor all of the American Presidents.

President's Day is on February 16. 

4. What are a few ways to show honor and respect on President's Day? 

One way to to show honor and respect on President's Day is to do a prayer for all of the President's that have passed on and served our country. Another way to show respect on President's Day is to obey the law.

Reflection: I agree with this quote because I also believe nothing or no one can be half truthful. It is either you're telling the truth or you're not. In court, you cannot be half honest because you can not be half guilty or half innocent. I believe if you tell a lie you should tell the truth afterwards because if you continue lying you will only tell more lies.

Reflection: I agree with this quote because you can not improve in life or gain if you do not set goals for yourself in life. In addition, it is not always about setting your goals it takes practicing, trying, learning, to achieve greatness. Once, you reach one goal, you must continue trying to achieve the rest of your goals. 

                                          History of Basketball

Who invented Basketball? Where? When? 

Basketball was invented in the year of 1891 in Springfield, Massachusetts by a physical instructor named, James Naismith. 

How? Why?

James was inspired to invent basketball because of a game called, "Duck-on-a-Rock," in which the players of the game throw a rock and try to knock the "duck" off. Basketball was designed to condition young athletes during the winter so they could stay fit. 

What were the circumstances at the beginning?

James spent 10 years being the University of Kansas's basketball coach losing way more games than he won. 

What was it like at the start?

At first, soccer balls were tossed into baskets used for collecting peaches before the basketball and the hoop were designed.

What types of shots were taken?

Shots were made into a peach basket with a soccer ball.

How is basketball different today than when it first started?

Now, there are several more rules, the game has a ball made for the game, and there are special hoops for the game, not peach baskets. In addition, there are more than 12 rules now and the teams are much more organized. Being a basketball player can be a career and it is much more important now.

Education: Requirements for becoming a veterinarian are: 

• Bachelor's Degree
• Must pass the N.A.V.L.E. (License Test)
• Must have joined a training program 

 

Reflection: I would consider becoming a veterinarian because I would love to help animals and this job saves lives. I would also like to become a veterinarian because I enjoy being around animals and taking care of them. I would  like to pursue this career because I feel animals deserve to be cared about and I am good for this job.

                   This story begins in a graveyard with a woman visiting her dead husband’s grave. The woman was peacefully staring at the grave when suddenly a man yanks her bag from her arm and starts to run. Time passes and the cops find the guy who robbed the woman’s purse.  The purse had the woman’s credit cards and $700.00. The incident is published on the news. A 15-year-old  boy, named Christian, sat at home watching the news when he got surprised. A very familiar face is was on the news, a face that is identical to his father’s. Christian lived with both his parents until they divorced when he was 2-years-old. Christian was in the school band and his father had given his $250.00 so he could go on a band trip. Chris had known his father was in and out of jail for different crimes, but this one got his attention. He had now found out how his father worked for money. Christian felt guilty and decided to meet up with the woman and apologize for his father’s mistake. In addition, Christian offered the $250.00 to the woman as an apology. The woman received the money, but then gave it back so Christian could go on the band trip.

Reflection: I honestly am confused of what this quote is supposed to mean. I am not sure if it means only those who are good get to live or if it has like a secret message. If it means only the people that are good get to live then I can predict it means only the people that are good get to be in peace without problems and basically that is what real living means.

Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibility of a western medicine doctor is to heal patients using drugs, radiation, or surgery. 

Salary: The median annual salary for a western medicine doctor is $65,000

Education: Educational Requirements for a western medicine doctor are:

• Must have joined at least 1  Medical Training Program
• Must have received a Medicine Degree

Reflection: I really like the way these types of doctors work, and if this title includes becoming a surgeon, then I would pursue this as a career. I would like to become a surgeon to take action and help the people in need.
