Basketball Game of Kindness

I thought the best video was the video about Michael given the opportunity to play in the basketball game. The coach was very generous and kind for have given him the opportunity of playing despite the fact that the team would win or lose. Another fact about the video that I believed was very considerate and amazing was the the opponent let Michael shoot the ball, even if he was in the opposite team. This was a wonderful video I'm glad I had the opportunity to watch it.

Reflection: I don't completely agree with this quote because I can not find how being kind can lead to greatness. I mean you can be really kind but not bright and so I believe that will not help you become a great person. The definition of "great" cannot be explained in one word. Being great is a combination of several ideas mixed together, in my opinion.

Thanksgiving was first celebrated when a group of pilgrims in the year of 1621 started a tradition of giving thanks because they were so delighted due to the fact that they had survived their first harsh winter and have created a successful harvest with the help of Native Americans. Reflection: I would not want to become a dental assistant because the job seems very boring and simple to me. I would like to have a career as where I am challenged and have different goals to set for myself daily. Reflection: I would consider becoming a dentist lab technician because the job seems easygoing and calm. I would like to become a dental lab technician, because unlike being a dentist, I do not have to be contacting people so near their mouths and facial areas. Another reason why I would like to become a dental lab technician is because ti it involves designing so that means the job is different everyday and that is a good thing because it will not bore me.

Veteran's Day

Veteran's Day- A holiday celebrated on November 11, due to the end of World War 1 and honor U.S. veterans and victims of all wars.
Reflection: I am very grateful to all the brave male and female veterans and soldiers that serve the army and choose to protect us from other countries that want to attack us. I feel protected, secure, and safe thanks to these very brave and generous people. I admire the veterans because i would never have the guts to go to war knowing whether or not i will go back to my family alive. If I were to meet a veteran and tell them a few words, those words would be THANK YOU.

end, winning or losing won’t matter, what will matter is if we chose the right,

Reflection: I completely agree with these words, they couldn't be more specific and accurate. An example of this proverb is someone I used to know began hanging out with the wrong people and was offered popularity and a reputation. My friend each day began dressing different, looking different, and acting different. A week later, I could barely recognize her. She began being careless in all her classes, talking back to the teacher, and rarely doing her homework. The next thing I know, she was smoking and trying out different drugs. At the end of that grade level, the group of people moved on to transform someone else and that was finally when she began to pay attention to what she had done. But, it was too late she was too far behind in all her classes. She began hanging out with the fools, and so she became a fool herself.
